Symbol in Coreldraw

select the menu text on the Insert menu and then click the symbol BAR charcter (F11)

 

at the first hint type the symbol you want to find, like the example below we are looking for MapInfo symbol, then the second select the symbol you are looking for and click insert, then symbol will appear on your main screen, as shown below
